Overview:

This course provides the student with a solid understanding of required maintenance of the Gas Chromatography (GC) system and basic troubleshooting strategies. Designed for new operators or those wanting a refresher, this course covers GC issues typically encountered in a laboratory setting. Discussions include inlet cleaning, column cutting and installation, and basic GC system troubleshooting.

At the conclusion of this course, the student will have a sound understanding of how to perform routine maintenance of the GC system and how to make effective troubleshooting decisions.

This webinar provides an overview of the differences of the new ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard for the laboratory technician or chemist. This course will explain the differences between ISO 17025:2017 and ISO 17025:2005 as it applies to their day to day activities.  The analyst will gain an understanding of the overall changes related to all aspects of sample management.
