This course will examine some of the most popular methods for root cause analysis including &ldquo\;The 5 Whys&rdquo\;, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), Pareto Analysis, fault tree analysis, and the Ishikawa diagram (Fishbone diagram or cause and effect).\r\nIn addition, the course will review the differences between corrective and preventive action and when each tool is used.
